Happy Monday! I cannot believe we just had to set the clocks ahead yesterday. Didn’t we just move them back?! The first half of the year goes by so quickly and now we’re just over a week away from springtime. It’s craziness!
But now that we’re transitioning into the spring months, I’ve been slowly transitioning my wardrobe and even my beauty products as well. Once autumn hits, I love transitioning into my darkest nail polish shades like deep purples and reds. But by this point in the year, it’s fun to switch it up and move back into pastel shades and fun, summery kinds of shades as well. So here are my top six favorite nail polish shades for springtime!
*All the following shades are listed in order according to the photo
‘Find Me An Oasis’ by Essie
I just found this color this past week and am completely obsessed with it. Its a gorgeous light grayish blue color and it’s absolutely lovely. I’m not typically a fan of light blue colors because they remind me of Easter eggs, but this one is a winner in my book!
‘Tradition’ by L.A. Colors
This one is a super pretty green shade. I’m not normally a huge fan of greens but this one is a pretty “neutral” shade to me. It’s more of a sea foam type of green color so it’s really beachy and pretty.
‘Peach of Cake’ by Sally Hansen
This is a gorgeous coral/peach nail color that I am completely obsessed with this time of year (along with anything turquoise). The one thing I love about this nail color, especially as we move into the summer months, is that it easily makes my skin look less pale and more tan. I’m not sure what the science is behind that (or if there even is any science behind it haha), but I love it!
‘Old Maid’ by P2
This is a turquoise kind of shade which is super fun for spring and summer months. The thing I love about this one (other than the color) is that it gives you a nice plump, gel-like finish. It’s super pretty and glossy and perfect for those who want a nice pop of color!
Sheer Nirvana by Sally Hansen Color Therapy
This shade is a gorgeous pale pink. I’m so obsessed with pinks and off-whites, especially in the spring and summer months. They’re so universal and classic looking so you really can’t go wrong here. They’re perfect for springtime!
‘She’s A Bad Muffuletta’ by OPI
This one is soooo pretty!! In the photo it looks almost like a reddish orange color (and actually the OPI website describes it this way as well), but it’s actually a really pretty darker pink shade. It reminds me of a good floral color. It’s easily one of my favorites and I’m constantly coming back to it this time of year.
