12 Beauty Products To Buy On Your Next Target Run

12 Beauty Products To Buy On Your Next Target Run |

Happy Hump Day everyone! Hump Days are the perfect day for a Target run (although, let’s be real here. EVERY day is a good day for a Target run). Like any mom in 2018, Target is like my second home. If I’m not at our actual home then it’s likely you’ll find me at Target. I don’t know what it is about Target, but they’re so good at marketing to moms and it draws me in every single time. It’s the only store where I ALWAYS leave with items not found on my list. It’s a problem! But a good problem, if you ask me. If I wasn’t wandering Target, then I probably wouldn’t have tried any of these products I’m sharing with you today. So in my book, being addicted to Target isn’t always a bad thing.

Today I’ve put together a list of some of my favorite products that I’m loving right now. Some of them I’ve been using for years and some of them are newer obsessions. But either way, they can ALL be found at your nearest Target location AND they’re all affordable. Can it get any better than that?! I think not! So before you head to Target, here are 12 products to add to your shopping list!

1. Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer $6.99 at Target

I picked this up in January and fell in love with it after the first try! I had heard so many great things about it and had to try it out for myself. I was a little iffy on the concept of it and wasn’t sure if it would actually work, but it does! This moisturizer is applied in the shower before you dry off. You apply it to wet skin and then pat yourself dry. Your skin instantly soaks up the lotion for a great, hydrated feel. My skin stays smooth and hydrated all day long!

2. CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser $9.49 at Target

I picked up this cleanser when I had a bad reaction to an acne product I had tried (which had resulted in an allergic reaction!). This cleanser helped me so much. It put moisture back into my skin and repaired the damage the acne product had done. When I say my skin was bad, it was completely dried out to the point where I couldn’t stop scratching it all day. It was also very red and swollen and just horrible. This cleanser truly fixed it and restored my skin back to its original state. So I’m a huge fan of this cleanser!

3. Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes Pink Grapefruit $6.69 at Target

I’ve been a huge fan of Neutrogena makeup remover wipes for a while now but I had never tried the pink grapefruit until recently. It said on the packaging that this one is good for acne-prone skin and at the time, my skin was a compete mess. So I decided to switch it up and try them out. I’m not sure how well they actually work on acne-prone skin as I started using actual acne products at the same time as well. But for removing makeup, they’re great! They leave my face feeling extra clean and hydrated. I do not, however, recommend using them on eye makeup! I did this the first time I used them and the grapefruit scent was way too much. It made my eyes burn. So use something else like a micellar water for eye makeup!

4. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water $6.69 at Target

Speaking of micellar water, this stuff is awesome! The one pictured above is for waterproof makeup and it works great with my hard to remove mascaras and eyeliners. I mainly use it for eye makeup because it takes it off so quickly and easily!

5. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Triple-Action Toner $6.99 at Target

So going back to my skin care issues: when I had that horrible allergic reaction I mentioned earlier, I started to really look at the products I was using to see what exactly it was that was causing me to have that reaction. I pulled out all of my skin care products and separated them into two piles: the products that worked for me and the ones that seemed to make my skin worse. After doing this, I came to the conclusion that it was Benzoyl Peroxide. It “worked” in the sense that it always completely eliminated my acne, but it was way too harsh for my skin. So I switched everything to Salicylic Acid and it’s been a game changer. I bought this Triple-Action Toner by Neutrogena and it’s been such a huge help!

6. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power-Cream Wash $7.49 at Target

This product goes along with the toner. This is my go to face wash nowadays and I’m loving it so much. The two not only help with getting rid of acne, they help with preventing it as well. I highly recommend these! Especially if Benzoyl Peroxide is too harsh for your skin.

7. Dove Refresh + Care Detox & Purify Dry Shampoo $4.49 at Target

I’ve never been a huge fan of dry shampoo simply because I could never find one that actually seemed to work. Maybe I just don’t understand how it’s supposed to work? I’m not sure. But I feel like every dry shampoo I’ve tried in the past did absolutely nothing. This dry shampoo by Dove is the only one I’ve tried that actually seems to work and make my hair look and feel better. And to make it even better, it’s less than $5!

8. L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Triple Power Eye Treatment $11.79 at Target

If you have bags and under-eye wrinkles then you want this product. My under eyes are horrible for my age and it can be really embarrassing sometimes. It’s one of the only things keeping me from going makeup-free somedays. I literally look dead without makeup. But I apply this every night before bed and every morning before putting on my makeup and it definitely makes a difference. I highly recommend it!

9. Burt’s Bees Lip Balm $4.99 at Target

This is easily one of my favorite lip balms ever. My lips have been so chapped these last couple months and my usual EOS Lip Balm just wasn’t doing it for me. So I picked up this one and it’s been so helpful! My lips always feel smooth and moisturized. And to make it better, it’s 100% natural!

10. TRESemme Heat Tamer $4.89 at Target

I’ve been using this product since the day I started straightening my hair wayyyyy back in middle or high school. Yes, this product has been around that long. It’s one of the very few beauty products I continuously buy without fail. I’ve never even used another heat tamer (aside from their Keratin version). That’s how much I love this product. So if you’ve never tried it, then pick it up the next time you’re at Target.

11. Kristin Ess Beach Wave Spray $14.00 at Target

I love, love, LOVE the beachy waves look and I literally have probably 5-10 different products for it in my bathroom. Not even kidding. It may be considered obsessive. BUT I just love the look so it’s completely worth it. Out of all the products in my bathroom, this one is one of my top three favorites for beachy waves. It smells good and really locks in those gorgeous waves. It’s a must-have!

12. Aussie 3-Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioning Treatment $2.99 at Target

Last on this list is the Aussie 3-Minute Miracle Deep Conditioning Treatment. The water here in San Diego is so hard and horrible and it really leaves my hair feeling dry and icky. I have this product in my shower and use it about once or twice a week and it’s always so helpful with putting moisture back into my hair. My hair is always left feeling soft, smooth, and most-importantly healthy and moisturized.
