We are officially done with month 3 and we’re now 25% done with this year long separation! Whoo! Can you feel the excitement?! It feels great to know that we’ve already hit a milestone. This past month has been a breeze compared to the first two months. Of course I still had my rough moments, but overall, it was a pretty smooth, quick month.
A couple weeks ago, I got an email from a reader, wondering how I manage to balance everything as “easily” as I do. It wasn’t until I got that email that I realized I finally have it together a bit. I got thinking about it and I honestly feel like superwoman right now. Let’s see here, I’m balancing my long distance marriage, my blog (which has been crazy busy this month), my freelance writing, working out 4-5 times a week, I’ve kept my 4.0 GPA, I became a Peer Leader for my school this month, I’m the Vice President of my school’s communications club, and I’m even able to slip in a little bit of a social life here and there with friends and family.
Crazy, I know. I still wonder how I’m handling it all so well. I finally feel like I have more of a routine now. I’m feeling more put together and not so all over the place anymore. I’ve scheduled out all of December to keep myself busy as well. Literally every weekend from now until the end of the year is completely booked with trips and parties and fun plans with friends and family. It’s going to be an exciting month and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
As of today, Zack will be here in three weeks. I couldn’t be more excited for it! There’s much to do before he arrives. My goal is to be able to take the full three weeks off while he’s here so I’m doing my best to get my entire December editorial calendar put together this week and then spending text two weeks getting everything typed up and scheduled. I will give you all an update on this once it gets a little closer and I have everything figured out. I very much don’t want to have to take a break from my blog nor do I want to be working while he’s here. So I’m trying to find a way to make it work.
I’ve also been running around like a crazy person, trying to get the house cleaned and making appointments to get my hair and nails done before he arrives. I’m working out even more and finalizing all of our plans. I feel like there’s just so much to do but I couldn’t be more excited for him to come home. It’s going to be the best Christmas EVER!
This seems like a super uninteresting check-in now that I type it out, but I love to keep you all updated!
